Rating by category:
The location. It was right on the beach, quite, casual atmosphere.
We paid in advance for our complete stay. Upon arrival I was told I had only paid the 30% downpayment. Our whole reservation was different than what we had requested via Booked.net. We requested a room to accomodate 6. The first "villa" we were given could only accommodate 4. It was very run down and looked as if it had been furnished with thrift-store, mis- matched funiture accessories. The staff were very understanding, however; and upgraded us to a two bedroom villa in the silver section of Admiral Row.
Comfortable Direct access to beach Nice size pool Plenty of amenities Secure Great location
The beach access
For the price the apartment was not very comfortable and clean.
My daughter found her first sand dollar. Beach showers and feet washes. Guests most were polite and helpful.
I stayed 3 nights for $820.00 by no means was this worth it. This made my top 2 vacations at number one. I understand seasonal demand but this was robbery. Everything was spread so far apart and parking was terrible. Carry your trash 80 yard to put in a dumpster. Place a newcomer right at the elevartor/ stairwell. Sleep was hard pressed Should be given 250 to 350 dollars of my money given back to be fair.
Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort, I would NOT recomend this place to anyone
Very dirty place
the room is ran down, needs paint an holes in wall need repair, the bed needs replaced, an the sofa needs replaced. we will come back again but, not at this location. the staff at the bar were rude also
Hilton Head is a wonderful place to take your family on a vacation the resort has a great beach with easy access and plenty of things to do without leaving the resort. But still other shopping needs were very close as far as driving to them. I hope to visit again next year.
The lake beach and aligators
villas are not well maintaining. Beds are not good kitchen utensils are bad
It was a cozy stay.
The advertisement was blatantly misleading and the management only offered a nominal adjustment. The false advertisement ruined an otherwise nice stay.
We had a beachfront condo - what's not to like? The condo was very nice and the restaurant on site was great.
The pool was a bit small for the size of the resort.
Place was old, 80's style. Beach suxed compraired to Gulf Coast. Building was to far from beach. Hargray Internet was lousy and slow. Fire exits do not comply with code. Door swings into exit path of stairs blocking egrees down stairs. Overpriced outdated will not recommend to friends, employees or associates.
The convenience to everything was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was kept clean and free of debris on all the grounds. Overall, our stay was great.
The bedroom was somewhat small. Otherwise, there wasn't anything not to like.
We were disappointed in the age of the tennis villa, tennis courts and the exercise room. For such a large and expensive place it did not "wow" us.
-lovely beach -convenient to where we needed to be -friendly check in staff -excellent poolside service
-Room was NOT clean. -Hotel would not grant us a late check-out (there is no way that the staff needs 5 hours to clean the room. We could have done a better job than the housekeepers. Very disappointed with that.
the pool and beach were so close to my room I walked to it. The pool was also very clean. Loved my stay and hope to come back soon!!!
Only got to stay 3 days
